Job Title: Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at DMA Logistics Inc.

Job Summary

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor department performance and implement changes as needed
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives
  • Prepare reports for senior management to track department performance
  • Recruit and supervise staff to ensure effective team management
  • Train staff on logistics procedures and best practices
  • Arrange for shipping documentation and track goods in transit
  • Ensure transport compliance with regulations
  • Negotiate with service providers for preferential rates
  • Oversee scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
  • Monitor revenue and adjust transportation service rates as needed
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Initiative and ability to take ownership of tasks
  • Organized and reliable with excellent time management skills
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Work Environment

The Logistics Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage their time effectively.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours

The Logistics Manager will work 30-40 hours per week.
