DZ Container Driver Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are willing to take on new challenges. As a DZ Container Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty crane mounted truck and transporting material containers to/from customer locations. Your primary objective will be to provide exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the safety of yourself and others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a heavy-duty crane mounted truck to transport material containers to/from customer locations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and document checks on standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
  • Immediately report any unsafe situations or service-related issues to Route Manager or Dispatch.
  • Participate in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings required by WM or Route Manager.
Requirements:
  • Hold a current DZ or Class 3 license or higher.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid SIN.
  • Able to successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, and motor vehicle record review.
  • Acknowledgeable and compliant with WM Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA, and DOT requirements.
