About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at Grant Home Hardware Building Centres. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to our customers and ensuring timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Safely operate a delivery truck to transport goods to customers, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Logistics and Administration: Maintain accurate records of delivery information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered during transport.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a delivery truck driver is an asset.
  • Licenses and Certifications: A valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles) and a Driver's License (Class 3 or D) are required.
  • Health and Safety: A clean driving record and the ability to pass a driving record check (abstract) are essential.
