About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Quesada Burritos & Tacos. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our menu items are prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement new menu items, as well as maintain and improve existing ones, to ensure that our customers receive the best possible dining experience.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of ingredients, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all menu items meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all menu items are prepared to order and that customers receive their food in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Strong attention to detail, client focus, and team player skills.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The language of work is English.
