About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Product Designer to join our team at Grand River Granite LTD. As an Industrial Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for our industrial products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop new industrial products, including consumer products, business products, and ergonomic products.
  • Computer-Aided Design (CAD): Utilize CAD software to create detailed designs and prototypes.
  • Design Methods: Employ detailed visualization techniques to bring designs to life.
  • Area of Specialization: Focus on designing industrial products, including consumer products, business products, and ergonomic products.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure that all designs meet basic security clearance standards.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Participate in government or community programs that support mature workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in industrial product design.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week.
