About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Product Designer to join our team at Grand River Granite LTD. As an Industrial Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for our industrial products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and design industrial products that meet our company's standards and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify design opportunities and trends.
  • Create detailed designs and prototypes using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Test and refine designs to ensure functionality and usability.
  • Communicate design concepts and ideas to stakeholders through effective presentation and documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial product design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and design tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and human-centered design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Industrial Design or related field.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) principles.
  • Knowledge of ergonomics and user experience (UX) design.
  • Fluency in English and/or French.
