Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Alberta Ltd. o/a Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules

Work Environment: Our fast-paced environment requires a team player who can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be physically demanding and able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Excellent oral communication skills
