Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at DEEPCOVE OSAKA JAPANESE RESTAURANT. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Plan and develop menus that showcase our restaurant's unique Japanese cuisine, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we are able to meet customer demand while minimizing waste.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
