The Impact You Could Make
As a detail-oriented individual with excellent organization skills, you will be responsible for entering alphanumeric data from various sources into our computer database. This is a contractual position for a period of 6 months.
Primary Functions
- Data Entry and Scanning
- Prepare, index, and scan hard copy records according to client requests.
- Data Accuracy and Completeness
- Check data from completed forms and client documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Meet Job-Specific Standards
- Complete all assigned data entry requests/tasks within required timeframes while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Document Review and Protocols
- Assure that all assigned documents are reviewed and that protocols are adhered to during data entry.
- Meet Production Rates
- Meet job-specific standards and production rates for data entry requirements.
- Provide Direction and Assistance
- Provide direction or assistance to users of information regarding data requirements and status of paperwork.
- Sort and File Paperwork
- Sort and file paperwork as needed.
Education and Years of Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year business experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly organized.
- Knowledge of data entry and scanning software programs a plus.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately and completely understand the importance of detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work flow and procedures.
- The physical ability to lift boxes and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
