Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at the Lambton Kent District School Board. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the speech and language development of students and capacity building in educators using a Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide screening, assessment, consultative, programming, and direct services to support a varied caseload of students with a range of communication delays or disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers and other itinerant team members, including providing clinical direction to Communicative Disorders Assistants.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support students' communication needs.
- Provide professional development and support to educators to enhance their knowledge and skills in supporting students with communication disorders.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- Professional certification with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CALSPO) is required.
- Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) is an asset.
- Experience working with students with complex communication needs.
- Knowledge of current research in assessment and evidence-based intervention methods.
