Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at the Lambton Kent District School Board. As a key member of our clinical and therapy services team, you will play a vital role in supporting the speech and language development of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (S-LP) in the province of Ontario
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
