The successful applicant will also possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and will have strong attention to detail and accuracy.

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate of a recognized community college Communicative Disorders Assistant graduate certificate program required

**Principal Duties**:

- Conducts speech, language, cognitive-communication and dysphagia therapy with patients as planned and managed by the Speech-Language Pathologist
- Records data relative to client performance and reports changes in client performance / status to the supervising speech-language pathologist
- Prepares clinical materials as required
- Maintains equipment as required
- Prepares appropriate communication aids
- Participates in unit/department and Hospital Quality Improvement initiatives
- Completes continuing education requirements as necessary
- Other related duties as assigned
