About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Thermoforming Machine Technician to join our team at PolarPak Company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians in setting up and maintaining thermoforming machines and associated equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Prepare tools and equipment for production as needed.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues with thermoforming machines and related systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and control systems.
  • Technical school diploma or equivalent experience in mechanical technology or plastics processing.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
  • Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
  • Knowledge of plastic mold handling and maintenance is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour continental shift with bi-monthly rotation.
