Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned finance executive to lead our finance shared services function. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the finance shared services function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial information and compliance with accounting standards and policies.
  • Provide thought leadership and set the future direction of the function.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to develop and implement operational finance processes and procedures.
  • Lead the month-end close process, enabling timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with shared services experience considered an asset.
  • CPA or equivalent certification in good standing and work experience with a major accounting firm is required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems, with proficiency in Workday considered an asset.
