Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

ICSS is seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs.
  • Assess clients' skills and development needs to create personalized support plans.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention, as well as conflict resolution support.
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) certification.
  • Developmental services worker (DSW) Training.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
