Mayers Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with Patient Care: Accompany patients on outdoor activities, assist with cleaning and maintenance of medical equipment, and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
- Personal Care: Bathe, dress, and groom patients, as well as assist with feeding and serving meal trays.
- Administrative Tasks: Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments, and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Transportation: Transport patients between care facilities, and assist with lifting and positioning patients.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
