Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at BC Liquor Stores. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with sales and inventory tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas.
- Assist with sales and inventory tasks, including processing transactions, receiving and stocking merchandise, and performing cycle counts.
- Operate a variety of mechanical and hand-operated equipment, including cash registers, scanners, and forklifts.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve sales and customer service skills.
- Be at least 19 years of age.
- Be able to legally work in Canada.
- Be able to provide excellent customer service.
- Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with the public.
- Be able to demonstrate aptitude for cashier and related duties, including calculations.
- Be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 20-25 kg boxes.
- Have a valid Serving It Right Certificate.
