An opportunity has arisen at Iron Systems for a skilled Automated Test Developer to join our team in PEI, Canada.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Developer to design and implement automated tests at multiple levels, including component, configuration item, subsystem, and system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the functional environment and be able to modify existing automated tests according to approved design specifications and best coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing automated tests across various levels;
  • Maintaining automation testing frameworks and tools to support component-level testing, regression testing, and web user interface testing;
  • Writing Gherkin and Cucumber scripts;
  • Developing Jenkins scripts to run tests;
  • Providing recommendations for new tests and enhancements to the environment;
  • Supporting junior automated test developers;
  • Utilizing Selenium Grid for cross-browser testing;
  • Building and modifying continuous delivery pipelines with GIT source control management and Jenkins automation server;
Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must possess demonstrated experience of five years in:

  • Java programming;
  • Cucumber;
  • SQL database management;
  • HTML and XPath scripting;
  • CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins;
  • Browser developer tools;
  • Testing web-based applications.
Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
