We are seeking a highly skilled Plumber to join our team at Mainland Plumbing and Heating Ltd.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing domestic, commercial and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. This will involve working on site, reading blueprints, determining piping system requirements, measuring, cutting, threading and bending pipes as required.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in confined spaces, handle heavy loads and perform tasks that require bending, crouching and kneeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain and repair plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Educate customers on proper plumbing maintenance and repair techniques
Requirements:
  • Red Seal Plumber Certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the trade
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks in confined spaces and lift heavy loads
