About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Field and Infusion Nurse in our Calgary office. As a Field and Infusion Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a homecare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and infusions to patients in their homes, clinics, and physician partnership settings.
  • Assess and monitor patients before and after treatments, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient care, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their caregivers on medication management and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and company initiatives.
  • Travel to clinics and patient homes within a designated geographical area to provide care.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with a valid license.
  • 1 year of experience in IV initiation and infusion therapy.
  • Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution and homecare settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
