Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Rockyview General Hospital. As a member of our Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) team, you will provide holistic assessments and care to patients in psychiatric or psychosocial crisis.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients in psychiatric or psychosocial crisis and develop effective plans for care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Provide brief interventions and modify interventions as needed
- Act as a resource to ED staff regarding assessment and care of patients with mental health conditions
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
- 1-year AMH experience within the last 3 years with an FTE
- Experience in child and adolescents' mental health
- Certification in NVCI
- Nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Knowledge of the Addiction and Mental Health related resources across the Calgary Zone
