Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team at The Oak Hotel and Suites. As a Housekeeping Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Elevator and Public Area Cleaning: Clean and disinfect elevators, public restrooms, and other high-traffic areas.
  • Lost and Found Management: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
