Job Summary

The Oak Hotel and Suites is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeping Professional to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • Restock linens, towels, and toiletries, and ensure that all areas are clean and tidy.
  • Respond to guest requests for extra supplies or services, and address any complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including washing windows, walls, and ceilings, and cleaning changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a hotel or resort setting is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week. The working language is English.
