Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Primecare Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain equipment and supplies in the pharmacy
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for use by pharmacists and other staff members
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices
  • Process claims for health insurance and workers compensation
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Organize and maintain inventory of medications and supplies
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients
  • Assist pharmacists with patient consultations and medication counseling
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Reliability and flexibility
