Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Primecare Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for use by pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices.
  • Process claims for health insurance and workers compensation.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
