About the Role:

We are seeking highly professional and experienced Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our team at RhynoCare in the Hawkesbury area. As an RPN, you will be responsible for providing nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to residents in long term and acute care facilities
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent nursing and personal care
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Manage the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents

Requirements:

  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Able to work with persons with infectious diseases
  • BLS Certificate
  • Valid First Aid & CPR
  • Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) and negative TB skin test within one year
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shift times and float between units
  • Reliability and adherence to RhynoCare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy
