Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
    • Develop and maintain individualized care plans, ensuring that residents receive timely and accessible admission, transfer, and discharge services.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues
    • Work effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure seamless care delivery.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care, share knowledge, and address concerns.
  • Ensure a Safe and Supportive Environment
    • Implement and maintain infection control and safety protocols, adhering to regulatory requirements and RhynoCare's policies.
    • Monitor and manage medication, including ordering, storage, and administration, in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
    • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
    • Basic computer proficiency, with experience in electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
    • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a focus on resident-centered care.
