Job Summary

Lex Metal Fabricators Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder-Fabricator to join our team. As a Welder-Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding and metal shaping techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication: Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Material Handling: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
Work Environment

The Welder-Fabricator will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Language: English.
