We're looking for a talented IT Cloud Architect - specialized Storage & Backup to join our growing team

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced IT Cloud Architect to play a key role within our technology architecture team. As a Storage & Backup IT Architect, you will develop and maintain systems and technology models and standards for specific projects.

You'll assist in implementing standards and orientations for personnel executing plans and projects. You'll also participate in architecture and planning projects, proposing coherent and efficient technology solutions while ensuring scalability, modularity, and integration.

Responsibilities include identifying strengths and weaknesses of current backend solutions, making recommendations that meet organizational ambitions and expectations, adhering to infrastructure and security patterns, and implementing Storage Based Solutions, including Block, File, and Object storage, SAN connectivity, Backup, Disaster, and Cyber Recovery.

You'll provide technical assistance to IT Operations Storage and Backup teams, lead teams of diverse experts, participate in multidiscipline projects, think strategically about business, product, and service requirements, and take tactical decisions to support immediate operational challenges.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Business Administration, or equivalent education and experience.

You'll have minimum 10 years of experience in IT and/or IS, strong understanding of Cloud Storage and Backup (AWS, Azure), common framework and legal requirements for Data backup and retention span, Backups encryptions and Data protection, and proven experience in designing and implementing Backup and Storage enterprise solutions.

You should also have a strong understanding of enterprise disaster recovery solutions, proven experience with vendor data center backup and recovery solutions (Hitachi, Dell, NetApp, Purestorage, Cohesity, Rubrik, Commvault), good understanding of Public Cloud Computing solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and strong documentation and technical writing skills.

A good understanding of TOGAF Architecture Principles, SOC 2, PCI DSS requirements, and HIPAA security rules and guiding principles is also necessary. Bilingualism in French and English is required, as well as senior-level communication skills to interact with colleagues across the country.
