We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Specialist to join our team at New 5 Electrical Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems and a proven track record of installing, maintaining, and repairing complex electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
  • Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors
  • Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices
  • Interpret electrical code specifications
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in industrial electrical systems
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work at heights, in cold and hot environments, and in confined spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding work requiring standing, walking, and lifting
  • Ability to work overtime as required
