Maximo Technical Lead

At ATCO, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and making a positive impact on the world. As a Maximo Technical Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between IT and business operations, overseeing the successful implementation and operations of Maximo initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with industry best practices
  • Ensure service providers adhere to proper ITIL management policies and procedures
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Maximo landscape and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Influence and execute the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) strategy
  • Define project technical requirements, build business cases, and participate in the selection of service implementers/providers
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure code quality meets minimum requirements
  • Lead and guide interrelated application implementation and operational activities
  • Define and enforce coding, error, and application monitoring standards
  • Elevate project risks and vendor concerns to IT and Business leadership
  • Communicate effectively across all areas of the organization
  • Monitor project progress and provide technical release consultation
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, processes, and tools to enhance development capabilities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of years of technical experience in Maximo Asset Management software
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams
  • Strong understanding of overall IT architecture
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical terms to non-IT stakeholders
  • Functional Maximo Asset Management experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
