Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at the Nanoose Bay Cafe. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to take on a key leadership role in our kitchen.

As our new Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. You will work closely with our management team to ensure that our restaurant remains at the forefront of culinary excellence.

• Develop and implement menus that showcase your creativity and expertise
• Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes and excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment that meets health and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with our management team to achieve business objectives

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 5+ years of experience as a senior chef or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant environment
• Strong knowledge of menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• A strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
