About the Role

Ferndale Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
  • Financial Data Entry: Enter financial data into our accounting system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including trial balances and financial statements.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • QuickBooks: Experience with QuickBooks is an asset.
