Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services.
  • Additional Services: Identify and recommend additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting, repairs, and equipment replacement.
  • Payment and Invoicing: Manage payment and invoicing for specialized cleaning services.
  • Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training and development opportunities for staff, including diversity and cross-cultural training.
Support for Diverse Groups:
  • Newcomers and Refugees: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Youth: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
