Hotel Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Smoky Lake Inn. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
Job Responsibilities- Co-ordinate activities with other departments to ensure efficient operations and high standards of service delivery
- Develop and implement effective work schedules and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize downtime
- Supervise staff members, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to enhance their performance and development
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
- Prepare and submit accurate reports on operational performance, highlighting trends and opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Assist guests with special needs, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay
- Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging repairs as necessary to prevent business disruptions and maintain customer service delivery
- Procure materials and supplies, managing inventory levels to meet business demands
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; relevant post-secondary education or certification preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotel operations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and large workloads
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and employee engagement
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to scheduling and workload
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods, moving around the hotel to perform various tasks
- Fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
- Detailed oriented, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
