Director of Engineering Innovation

At Due North, we are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering Research and Development to lead our engineering team in advancing our research and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Assign and oversee engineering projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Direct and control daily operations, including planning and controlling budgets and expenditures.
- Provide detailed information and guidance to clients on project analysis and design.
- Evaluate technical designs and engineering work, ensuring adherence to government regulations and licensing requirements.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures for engineering work, ensuring optimal resource allocation and organizational objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering research and development, with a focus on project management and leadership.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of CAD software and experience with 3D modeling.
- Ability to relocate for this position.
