About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit and Collections Manager to join our team at O2E Brands. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for assessing the financial health of our customers and developing strategies to improve collection rates.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Regularly analyze financial statements, credit reports, and industry data to determine credit limits for new and existing customers.
  2. Develop and implement a credit policy that balances customer needs with business requirements.
  3. Design and create visual dashboards and analytical reports to present data to leadership, highlighting key insights and trends.
  4. Develop strategies to improve collection rates and recommend actions to mitigate potential losses.
  5. Support customer discussions about outstanding invoices and negotiate payment terms while maintaining a positive relationship.
  6. Work with internal teams to manage customer credit limits and resolve disputes or issues that may delay payment.
  7. Follow industry standards and best practices to effectively collect on delinquent accounts and ensure compliance with regulations.
  8. Support and develop a small team of collectors.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 5 years experience in a related field.
  2. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial information.
  3. Proficiency with ERP and productivity systems.
  4. Focus on process improvement and related experience.
  5. Strong organization and coordination skills.
  6. Solid working knowledge of credit principles and best practices.
  7. Excellent communications skills, including ability to deal with internal and external customers.

What We Offer

  1. Salary range of $67,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity.
