We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Wright Construction Services Inc.
Job Summary:The Carpenter will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction and repair of buildings, including measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Instructing apprentices.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
- Valid driver's license and own transportation.
- Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and other necessary tools and equipment.
- Excellent physical condition and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically demanding work environment.
- Tight deadlines and high level of accuracy required.
- Client focus and excellent communication skills.
- Judgement and reliability.
- Team player with strong values and ethics.
English.
Work Schedule:40 to 60 hours per week.
