About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team at Framing Carpenter. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all building projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimation and Planning: Prepare accurate estimates of labour and material costs for projects, and develop detailed plans to ensure timely completion.
  • Site Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of other tradespeople on site, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Construction and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work meets the required standards of quality and safety.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
