Job Description

The Host will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests upon arrival. This includes greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcome and at ease.
  • Manage reservations effectively, using excellent communication skills to ensure all guests are seated promptly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Front of House Management Team to maintain a smooth and organized restaurant environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and clutter-free front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas.
  • Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and managers to ensure proper guest flow throughout the restaurant.
Requirements

To be successful as a Host at Biff's Bistro, you will need:

  • Proven prior experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 6 months in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high level of attention to detail, with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure, working effectively in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Full availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
