Ontario Convention Center Concessions/Banquet Server

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Banquet Server to join our team at the Ontario Convention Center. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities- Report for work in proper uniform and follow instructions for each event as given by the Food & Beverage Manager/Assistant Manager/Banquet Captain.
- Assist with collecting and preparing banquet equipment, including flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces.
- Prepare tables with place settings as instructed by the Food & Beverage Manager and/or Banquet Captain.
- Provide friendly and courteous customer service at all times, responding to guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Break down tables and banquet equipment after each event, cleaning and returning serving pieces to their proper storage area.
- Adhere to strict grooming standards and policies of the company, following service standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Minimum of six (6) months work experience in a service-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of catering services and terminology, as well as strong guest service skills.
- Ability to get along well with others, receive and carry out instructions in a timely manner, and perform repetitive eye/hand coordination, daily lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. above shoulder level for up to 5 minutes at a time.
