About the Role

The Métis Economic Development Officer is a full-time position located in Winnipeg, MB. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about economic and community development and have experience working with Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing economic and community development action plans that align with the MMF's priorities and directives.
  • Supporting key economic development initiatives that promote Red River Métis inclusion and participation in various sectors.
  • Conducting sector-specific data analysis to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Serving as a point of contact for community partners seeking to connect with the MMF and its citizens.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Red River Métis Citizens and entrepreneurs.
Requirements
  • Experience working in economic and community development or in a private sector context.
  • Experience conducting data analysis or research.
  • Knowledge of Red River Métis culture and MMF programs and services is an asset.
What We Offer

A comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, pension, and vacation.

A competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
