Job Summary:
The Engineering Institute of Canada is seeking a skilled Electronics Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement electronic systems, including hardware and software components
- Install and test electronic equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety
- Maintain and repair electronic systems, troubleshooting issues and performing upgrades
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and user manuals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in electronics systems design, installation, and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of electronics, including circuit design, microcontrollers, and programming languages
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation systems, including PLCs and SCADA
- Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP and Ethernet
- Familiarity with data analysis software and database management systems
