Pediatrician

Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Pediatrician to join our team at Chilliwack General Hospital. As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to children from birth to 19 years old, with a focus on general pediatric medical problems, social and developmental issues, behavior and mental health concerns, learning difficulties, and school-related problems.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive medical care to children, including routine check-ups, sick visits, and acute care services
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct outreach clinics in Hope and a weekly multidisciplinary child development clinic at the Child Development Centre
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to provide care to children with complex needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local family doctors and other specialists
- Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
- Completion of a pediatric residency program or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
