Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at 10042749 Canada Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to install drywall sheets and other materials
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels. You will be required to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in drywall installation or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
