We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Nursing Faculty to join our team at Scottsdale Community College (SCC). As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction, clinical supervision, and mentorship to nursing students in our program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver curriculum for nursing students, incorporating evidence-based practice and innovative teaching methods.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to students in various healthcare settings, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback to ensure student success.
- Participate in college governance and contribute to the development of nursing program policies and procedures.
- Stay current with industry developments and advances in nursing practice, incorporating this knowledge into teaching and clinical practice.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing education or clinical practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
