Job Opportunity: Marine Works Lead

About the Role:

Aecon Nuclear is seeking a highly skilled Marine Works Lead to join our team on the Darlington New Nuclear Project. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for the successful execution of marine works within the project's balance of plant and its interface with the tunnel alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain schedules, scopes, and budgets for marine works
  • Lead technical discussions with engineering and subcontractors to develop final designs and specifications
  • Coordinate and ensure the development of method statements and construction packages
  • Monitor and validate project metrics (safety, quality, cost, schedule) for assigned work segments
  • Proactively manage risk and mitigation across the project
  • Identify and report resource constraints impacting planned work
  • Implement project readiness processes for design, procurement, and construction execution

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary university or college technical degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years project management experience in a related role
  • Previous experience with marine, coastal, or offshore works required
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with specialty subcontractors and provincial stakeholders
  • Extensive knowledge of project execution, financial operations, estimating, and employee relations
