  • Analyze complex data and develop strategic recommendations for senior leadership
  • BUILD effective relationships with government officials, industry stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Support the development of policy positions and documents that advance the industry's interests

Requirements:

  • University degree in a related field (e.g. economics, policy, public administration, law)
  • ~2-4 years of experience in a compliance, policy or legal role in the financial services sector
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to problem-solve and quickly get up to speed on highly complex and technical issues
  • Understanding of policy and legislative processes, especially those involving provincial and territorial governments
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, digital), and the ability to simplify complex information into clear and straightforward language
