About the Role:Vitacore Industries is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead with a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation to develop, train, lead, and manage the engineering department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in setting up and maintaining manufacturing and recycling equipment, as well as collaborating with the R&D team on various projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the engineering department and ensuring the successful execution of projects
- Developing and implementing manufacturing and recycling processes
- Collaborating with the R&D team on innovative projects
- Providing training and guidance to Engineers in Training (EITs)
Requirements:
- Professional Certificate in Engineering registered with the Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
- Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng)
- Project management experience
- Strong communication skills, specifically report writing
Experience and Related Skills:
- 3-5 years leadership/managerial experience
- Engineering Design experience
- Programming experience
- Manufacturing or related mechanical experience
- Fabrication
- Prototyping
- Solidworks
- MS Excel
- Programming language (at least one of the following): Python, Java, MATLAB, C, C++, C#, PLC
- Hand tools
Designations in One or More of the Following Disciplines:
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Biomedical
- Physics
- Manufacturing
- Mechatronics
- Computer
- Master of Engineering is an asset
Compensation Range:
- From $100,000 to $115,000 CAD per annum
