Job Title: Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to develop, train, lead, and manage our engineering department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in setting up and maintaining manufacturing and recycling equipment, as well as collaborating with our R&D team on various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies to drive business growth and innovation
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and implement new technologies and processes
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team
Requirements:
  • Professional Certificate in Engineering registered with the Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
  • Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng)
  • Project management experience
  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills, specifically report writing
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years leadership/managerial experience
  • Engineering Design experience
  • Programming experience
  • Manufacturing or related mechanical experience
  • Fabrication
  • Prototyping
  • Training and teaching Engineers in Training (EITs)
  • Solidworks
  • MS Excel
  • Programming language (at least one of the following): Python, Java, MATLAB, C, C++, C#, PLC
  • Hand tools
Compensation and Benefits:
  • From $100,000 to $115,000 CAD per annum
